A message from Anthony, from The French Circus School

Bonjour,

I am a circus and sports teacher passionate about my work, coming from the north of France where I have offered circus and sports activities since 2008.

I founded the French Circus School in Melbourne in 2020, to bring my passion to Australia and offer interesting and fun programs to children. My students enjoy every class because they always learn something new, including French language.

Each class offers a variety of activities, so every child will find something they love in my classes.

À bientôt

Anthony

Testimonials from parents & children :

‘‘Our 8-year-old daughter has been going to circus classes with Anthony for more than a year and loves it. She enjoys learning tricks she can show us at home like juggling but also working together with classmates and preparing a show at the end of the term”  (Marine)

‘‘My 7-year-old son has been attending Anthony's circus class for the past year and a half. He looks forward to going every week and absolutely loves the classes. I'm constantly amazed at how much he can do now and how confident he's become!

Anthony is a very experienced coach who shows great patience and kindness towards the children. I also love that the sessions incorporate both French and English, which provides a relaxed environment for my son to practice his mother tongue.’’ (Sophie)

What children say about my classes:

Audrey 7 years old: “my favourite thing is to balance a ginormous peacock feather on my finger”.

Gabriel 6 years old: “I think it is over infinity percent fun”.

What’s in a circus class?

Circus practice is a great way for children to stay in shape and develop their coordination. The different disciplines, such as juggling, acrobatics or balances, stimulate their body and improve their agility.

Juggling

‘‘ flowers sticks, balls, Chinese plates, scarves, diabolo…’’

Balance on an unstable object :

‘‘ unicycle, slackline, barrel drum, rolla bolla, walking globes, balance board, pedalgo’’

Gymnastics:

General and basics move in gymnastics including a lot of Human Pyramid

Movement :

I often use content and materials from other sports disciplines to promote movement and general coordination.

Multisport program :

Team games, table tennis, tennis, floorball, basketball, Frisbee, gymnastics, and more… an amazing program for all energetic children!

Regarding the French approach:

According to the level of my circus students in French ( starting from ‘‘0’’ to bilingual students), I adapt the content, vocabulary, and part of French in my lessons.
French will always be brought with play and movement, It's not a French class, it's a French Circus Class!

For the school teachers :

Because each incursion program is different, the best thing is to discuss it with me for your projects in class.
